I had thought about posting my resolutions up here, since others had made them. However, mine are longer term goals and seem to be static in some ways. At least in the ultimate goal. World domination is not something that happens overnight. Unless you destroy everyone and every thing, but then what fun is that? I don't wish to kill all of the Muggles, we need a few as a slave race and to have as party favors.
In other news, things seem on track. I was rather irritated with a rumor that Lily Potter had been cremated and thus there would be no way to undo the blood magic. However, my sources deep within the Ministry are saying that is not true. But, in any case, perhaps her sister could be bled out and the curse could be reversed that way. This will take more reading to confirm, of course, however Petunia Dursley is being watched. I would hate for her to disappear.

| Mandala Principle and Chaos Magic |

I've been reading some experimental writings on the principle of the Mandala and summoning old magics from this very basic form. It is said that this was a source of power for some of the older wizards from back when the magic was more pure and the blood was strong between the magical peoples who roamed the earth. I think through my rebirth my blood has indeed been purified, particularly with the bond I now share with the old magics that were used to protect Potter.
So, that has been how I spent the New Year, drawing up the pattern on the earth and appealing to the keepers of the old ways and meditating to make this magic work. It is rather a tiresome process, and has not left me much time to make New Years resolutions. Although I suppose that my goals have not really moved much over the years and listing them out now would do little good.
But, I will lay out some rules on this journal before the year is out, perhaps that will be my only real resolution. I thought that rules for posting here would have been self-evident, but it seems that some simply do not get it, and for them I will set up boundries.

Christmas was as to be expected. I suppose I could wax poetic and sing of the 12 supplicants of Christmas, but I really hate poetry. Unless it's about all of the great works I do. And even then it's likely a waste of time when you could be doing something far more evil. Then again, what is more evil than bad angsty poetry?
But this is not the point. I did not get a chance to wish you all a Happy Christmas before the day, therefore I'm moving Christmas to today and wishing it now. If you've opened your presents before now, shame on you. You were not given permission to do that, and it was not Christmas.
Now, it seems that you lot didn't think enough of me to wish ME a Happy Christmas so each of you owe me a gift of some sort. So then. What did you get me for Christmas?

I realize that I am rather fortunate and amazing to have been blessed with rebirthing myself from merely sheer will and spells, however, these scales are a tad... itchy. I think perhaps it is my first time to shed a bit of that skin and it's making me rather irritable of late. I had one of those... muggle colds... I'm not sure how I got it, to be honest. I can only assume that some of my minions spend time amongst muggles and somewhere along the way picked up a virus and while kissing my feet or my hands spread it on to me.
I should have to look to see who has visited me over the past few days and have them killed. Well, no, perhaps not. I should have them watched, and those who seem to be spending time with muggles should be exterminated. Vermin! How dare they! I have no time for this sniffling, sneezing or coughing and aching! I have very dark plans to dispatch.
I think I'm very close to finding out where harryp0tter's mother is buried. All I need is just a bit of tissue and then I can appeal to the old magics to remove the blood curse. The only problem with the old magics being that they could possibly refuse. There seems to be more red tape in magic than Rowling lets on. The truth is that for really big spells, there is a tribunal. But that is another rant for another day. For now, let us just say, that Santa may be leaving Potter a very special present this year. He may yet be finally getting to see his parents.

I think I shall have to cut Muggles out of my diet. I had been dining on the blood of virgins, but this last one seems to have disagreed with me in some way. Perhaps she was not so pure as advertised. I shall have to have her family exterminated. I keep burping up impure blood. As if it was not disgusting enough going down the first time.
I would much rather feast on the hearts of those blood traitors, the Weasleys, but the Ministry seems to be keeping an annoyingly close watch on them. Although perhaps as a special Christmas treat someone could have Charlie meet with an unexpected end with his Dragons and send me a little treat?

I require a web banner for the top of my journal. It does not sit well with me that askdraco's journal looks better than mine. Feel free to use images of me in my youth if you wish or even abstracts are fine. I shall hold it as a bit of a contest. The winner shall recieve their Dark Mark, suitable for display on their webpage. Although likely anyone who participats shall get some manner of Mark as well as they will have shown themselves as loyal in my sight.
The banner shall be 600x300 in size in gif or jpg suitable and presentable for the top of my journal. I shall find a way to insert it into my journal. Do attempt to keep it under 50k. However a truly glorious design shall be allowed to exceed the size requirements. There may be multiple winners. Any one of them that I enjoy may be used for a time at the top of my journal, it is quite an honor. So do get started.

Is it honestly too much to ask to have a couple of followers... actually follow me now and then? Seriously. It isn't ask if I ask a lot, only your soul. Really though... I am the Dark Lord, these new people were my family and they bumbled about messing around after I was felled by the boy who should have died. Is it really my fault that the prophecy came to me incomplete? No, it was a minion's fault plain and simple. Anyways, I'd like to go on record as saying that I DID NOT KILL CEDRIC. It was Wormtail. But on the subject of all of the boys who died, I killed a lot of them. Must we all fixate on the boy who should have died? It is unhealthy.
